Rosacea

Rosacea (rose-Ay-sha) is a common skin disease.  It often begins with just blushing or flushing easily than other people and can last for several hours.

The redness usually starts at T-zone (forehead, nose to the cheek area and down to chin area).  Sometimes will be ears, chest or back area.

Women most likely to notice and get diagnosed quicker than men.  There are 4 subtypes:

  1.  Erythematotelangiectatic Rosacea; redness, flushing, visible blood vessels.
  2. Papulopustular Rosacea; redness, swelling, and acne-like breakouts ( but they are not ).
  3. Phymatous Rosacea; skin thickens and has a bumpy texture.
  4. Ocular Rosacea; eyes red and irritates, eyelids can be swollen, and a person may have what looks like a stye (a red, painful lump near the edge of the eyelid that may look like a boil or pimple ).

Rosacea may not go away on its own and dermatologist can diagnose the disease.  For a skincare therapist has been taught to recognized the symptoms and watch for sign of getting any worsen.

At Beautiful Glow Sugaring, we’ve facial treatments design specific for this conditions.  We’ve clients whom already got some treatments with their dermatologists ( or if they need, we can give some recommendation to a few dermatologists).

Our goals are not to flare-ups the redness and helping our clients with home cares and more informations maybe what foods to avoid.

Skin care is very important to keep Rosacea under the control, otherwise  some ingredients in skincare can make Rosacea worse.

Thank you and Cheers 🙂
